:: :: been quiet here thought I would try to get something
:: :: going.
:: ::
:: :: Do we as a class want to have a overall trophy for the
:: :: traveler.
:: ::
:: :: IE the boat/skipper that travels the longest to attend
:: :: regattas each year.
:: ::
:: :: I would start with this your total millage from national
:: :: to national to for attended regattas.
:: ::
:: :: number of miles times regatta level one way.
::
:: :: 4 times for nationals. 2 for districts and midwinters.
:: :: and 1 for other regattas.
:: ::
:: :: Can not win two years in a row.
::
:: :: airplane miles do not count but 1/2 added for each extra
:: :: boat carried.(bring two boat total 1.5 times.)
:: ::
:: :: any thoughts?
Trying to figure out how to post. Been a while. Yes, we have had a travelers Bragging Rights in the past. I've won it twice. It was when I was the editor of the Jouster/Windmill News, so the winner was just written up in an article. I think the names Sponar or Chauvenet would be permanently engraved on a trophy.
